This extraordinary Tokkuri (Sake Flask) is by Artist Kako Katsumi, a leading Japanese ceramic artist adept at working in many style. This sake flask is from his "Black Period": black neck and throat, with black and white feldspar dots applied in random "spatter" style to the rough unglazed pebbled clay. In great condition, signed by artist and comes with artist bio and presentation box.
