Japanese Tenugui Towel Tenugui is a traditional cloth used to use as towel.

Both ends of Japanese tenugui are jut cut and not stitched traditionally to make it dry quickly.
When you wash them, it frays at both ends. But after several wash, it gradually stop fraying.
This is a kind of feature of tenugui.
