This pin is part of a series of pins released for Mickeys Star Spangled Pin Event at the Contemporary Resort in WDW on June 29, 2002. It features a pewter relief of a classic Mickey standing proudly in front of a stained-glass American flag with glitter and pearlized stars. The bottom of the pin has the traditional Artist Choice pencil and paint brush and above that is a circular logo with Star Spangled Original written around the outside and Mickey Mouse going across the center. Disney Artist: Ron Burrage The pin came out during the Star Spangled Pin Event Saturday June 29th, however it is stamped "Star Spangled Pin Event July 29th, 2002". Measures 2 3/8" across by 2" tall
