This is the Shohonyama Shobudani Asagi from Kyoto. Good for razor and woodworking tools in the finishing process. A Hard one, water absorption is slow, better going with Nagura, enable to regain the sharpness of the blade and it lasts longer. The line on the bottom of the sharpening face, it is not Suji ( toxic ) line, wont hit when sharpening. Please note that these are not for beginner sharpeners since theyre harder to use. These are natural stones meaning that every single one of them are different so my measured sizes are not accurate. This is a lifetime investment for people who live sharpening their knives and tools, do not hesitate to ask me your questions.”
