Как играть?
"Зов Ктулху" – это ролевая игра, сюжет которой пишут сами игроки, отыгрывая роль персонажей по заранее определённым правилам. А чтобы вы, увлёкшись игровым процессом, не начали пренебрегать этими правилами – за их выполнением следит специальный игрок, которого называют мастером или ведущим. Он же вплетает решения игроков в канву общего сюжета, продумывает окружение и действия противников. Ролевые игры могут быть как полностью устными, так и использовать миниатюры персонажей и окружения для того, чтобы глубже погрузить игроков в мир фантазии. По традиции, вероятность успеха действия в "Зове Ктулху" определяется броском кубиков: в разных ситуациях для хорошего исхода нужно набрать разное количество очков. Важно следить за психическим здоровьем своего персонажа, ведь человеческое сознание не всегда выдерживает столкновение со сверхъестественным, а древней магии и жестоких демонов в игре хватает.
Кто победил?
В "Зове Ктулху", как и в других ролевых играх, нет чёткой цели набрать больше всех очков или убить больше всех чудовищ. По ходу игры вы будете отыгрывать роль обычных людей: полицейских детективов, учёных-историков, журналистов, которые столкнулись с древним злом и противостоят ему. В ходе игры ваш персонаж вполне может погибнуть или сойти с ума, после чего можно создать совершенно другого героя и вжиться в новую роль. Главное – получить от игры яркие ощущения, пережив захватывающие приключения в дружной компании.

How to play?
"Call of Cthulhu" is a role-playing game, the plot of which is written by the players themselves, playing the role of characters according to predetermined rules. And so that you, carried away by the gameplay, do not begin to neglect these rules - their implementation is monitored by a special player, who is called a master or presenter. He weaves the players’ decisions into the outline of the overall plot, thinks through the environment and the actions of the opponents. Role-playing games can be entirely oral or use miniatures of characters and environments to immerse players deeper into a fantasy world. According to tradition, the probability of success of an action in Call of Cthulhu is determined by rolling the dice: in different situations, for a good outcome, you need to score a different number of points. It is important to monitor the mental health of your character, because the human mind does not always withstand a collision with the supernatural, and there is plenty of ancient magic and cruel demons in the game.
Who has won?
In Call of Cthulhu, as in other role-playing games, there is no clear goal to score the most points or kill the most monsters. As the game progresses, you will play the role of ordinary people: police detectives, historians, journalists who have encountered and resisted ancient evil. During the game, your character may well die or go crazy, after which you can create a completely different hero and get used to a new role. The main thing is to get a vivid feeling from the game, experiencing exciting adventures in a friendly company.
