О Shadowrun
Перед вами мрачный мир будущего, где технологии и гнетущая атмосфера перемешаны с фэнтезийными расами, магией и даже эзотерикой. Настольная ролевая система получила новый приток игроков и популярности благодаря серии видеоигр по мотивам предыдущих редакций игры. Вы же окажетесь в шестой редакции правил Shadowrun и будете участвовать в тактических сражениях, творить магию и, конечно же, взламывать компьютерные сети.
Для погружения во вселенную игроки придумывают персонажей-бегущих – наёмников, готовых выполнять любые задания, в том числе и не совсем легальные, от мегакорпораций и мафии до религиозных культов и тайных обществ.
Как принято в настольных ролевых играх, один из участников процесса берёт на себя роль ведущего, который описывает мир, рассказывает историю и отыгрывает других персонажей.
Как играть?
Базовая механика настольной ролевой игры Shadowrun проста: у вас есть запас кубиков, равный суммарному значению Навыка и привязанного к нему Атрибута. С помощью броска шестигранных кубиков совершается проверка действия и определяется смог ли ваш персонаж выполнить задуманное. Попасть из оружия, взломать систему, уговорить полицейского и многое другое, что вы сами или ваш мастер можете вообразить.
Традиционно приключение строится вокруг забегов ("ранов") – заказов, которые персонажи получают и должны выполнить. Вы встречаетесь с посредником, который представляет интересы клиента и получаете необходимые указания, подсказки и другую информацию или материалы. После этого начинается настоящая работа...
Ход каждой миссии уникален и зависит от задания, а также навыков команды героев. Возможно, у вас получится закончить дело без единой пули, используя своё обаяние, хакерские навыки или незаметное проникновение. Но бывает, что само задание подразумевает бой, и тогда в ход идут кубики.
С помощью особой механики "Преимущества" мастер может менять условия битвы, выдавая особые очки, за которые можно менять значения бросков кубиков. Возможно, на вас напали из засады, или вы хорошо ориентируетесь на этой улице, или даже знаете слабые места банды – всё это преимущества для вас или ваших врагов. Такая система вынуждает игроков тщательно планировать задания и с изяществом их выполнять.

About Shadowrun
Before you is a gloomy world of the future, where technology and an oppressive atmosphere are mixed with fantasy races, magic and even esotericism. The tabletop role-playing system has received a new influx of players and popularity thanks to a series of video games based on previous editions of the game. You will find yourself in the sixth edition of the Shadowrun rules and will participate in tactical battles, create magic and, of course, hack computer networks.
To immerse themselves in the universe, players come up with running characters - mercenaries who are ready to carry out any tasks, including not entirely legal ones, from megacorporations and the mafia to religious cults and secret societies.
As is customary in tabletop role-playing games, one of the participants in the process takes on the role of a leader who describes the world, tells the story and plays out other characters.
How to play?
The basic mechanics of the tabletop role-playing game Shadowrun are simple: you have a dice pool equal to the total value of the Skill and the Attribute attached to it. By rolling six-sided dice, an action check is made to determine whether your character was able to complete his plan. Hit a weapon, hack a system, persuade a policeman and much more that you or your master can imagine.
Traditionally, an adventure is built around runs ("runs") - orders that the characters receive and must complete. You meet with an intermediary who represents the clients interests and receive the necessary instructions, tips and other information or materials. After that the real work begins...
The course of each mission is unique and depends on the task, as well as the skills of the team of heroes. You may be able to finish the job without a single bullet, using your charm, hacking skills, or stealth infiltration. But it happens that the task itself involves combat, and then dice are used.
Using the special "Advantage" mechanic, the master can change the conditions of the battle by issuing special points, for which the dice rolls can be changed. Perhaps you were ambushed, or you know your way around the street, or even know the gangs weak points - all these are advantages for you or your enemies. This system forces players to carefully plan tasks and execute them with grace.
