“Please check the photos. This is the Atagoyama 24 Size Chunk from Kyoto Japan. Atagoyama located in North West area in Kyoto, known as Chu Ishi Nari. However, our supplier who is ex-miner of Atagoyama informed that there are some layer duplicated with Hon Kuchi Nari. Atago is located at the midpoint between Higashi-Mono and Nishi-Mono, this one was mined in a layer of Namito layer of Hon Kuchi Nari.

Good for chef knives and tools. Very Rare & Hard to find Atagoyama these days ! Apart from the sharpening face, sealed lightly. Please note that these are not for beginner sharpeners since theyre harder to use.These are natural stones meaning that every single one of them are different so my measured size are not accurate. This is a life time investment for people who lives sharpening their knives and tools, do not hesitate to ask me your questions.”
