This portable headphone amplifier is designed for audiophiles and music lowers.

I create this amp based on the popular CMoy amp design, using no compromise, best quality parts and employing principles used in HI-END audio.

Amp is DC coupled, this mean no caps in signal path, more clear and uncolored sound

This amp can easily drive almost any headphones with 16ohm to 600ohm impedance and greatly improve the sound quality and boost the weak output of your DAP, phone, DAC, soundcard or any other music source.

Amp is designed and hand built, tested by me, Zigis, in Latvia, Europe

Amp is built in Hammond enclosure, front panel options are Gold, Silver and Black

 

I designed Printed Circuit Board (PCB) for this amp, employing principles used in HI-END audio, such as the shortest possible signal path and power supply caps as close as possible to the op-amp power leads. All parts, including volume pot and jacks, are on PCB, there is only one cable to the battery.

 

All audiophile-grade parts are carefully selected for the best possible sound quality through long experiments and listening sessions.

 

• Texas Instruments LM4562 or OPA2134 opamp on gold-plated 8-pin DIP socket
• Japan made ALPS RK097 volume control with power switch
• Metal film 1%+ hand matched resistors
• Panasonic FM low ESR 470 mf power caps
• TLE2426 Rail splitter

• Amplifier can be powered by internal 9v battery or any external DC Power Supply with voltage between 12V - 30V
• DC input socket is 5,5/2,1mm with center tap positive (+)
• 9V battery and PS are not included
