Sneakers <SHOES LIKE POTTERY> are produced by Moonstar, a long-established shoe manufacturer founded in Kurume, Fukuoka Prefecture in 1873. The Vulcanize manufacturing method, which can only be produced in very few factories in Japan, involves putting it in a kiln and firing it in the final process. The name comes from the fact that this process resembles the process of making pottery. BROWN DUCK uses VULCANIZED CLOTH, which is highly waterproof and has increased strength and elasticity by applying vulcanization to highly water-repellent industrial hard duck fabric.
