Batik art is a well-established craft in Sri Lanka
Traditional and artisanal, production per artist is often very limited.
So each batik created is unique.
These Sri Lankan batiks most often incorporate fascinating patterns and colors. Varied and finely made, the patterns of Sri Lankan Batik have the particularity of being contemplated from the front as well as from the back, because the production is always careful and of quality.
The prices of batiks from Sri Lanka are certainly more expensive than those from Indonesia for example, but they are also true creations recognized throughout the world due to their rarity, quality and uniqueness.

We have selected an artist for his creations made entirely by hand with traditional methods and natural materials.
Here, the patterns are not printed from Batik stamps. All the patterns are first drawn in pencil then with lost wax to delimit the areas to be tinted.
In the end, you get quality batiks and depending on the complexity of the patterns and the time spent making them, a really fair price for beautiful craftsmanship.
