Why a dual headed USB cable?

The improvement that our dual headed consist in the fact that carries the signal through one of the cable conductors, and the power (5 volts) through the other cable conductor.

The wires inside both conductorsa are also twisted with a high twist rate for the purposes of minimizing electromagnetic interference (EMI)

In both cases they are protected by a foil shield and a braided metal shield, covered by an external PVC protection jacket and an outside polypropylene mesh as used in high end.

The power cable conductor is a heavier gauge and the signal cable conductor has more cores. Further, signal and ground have their own respective geometry to conduct optimally. 

The power conductors are physically separated from the audio conductors.By travelling separately they keep the audio signal clean.

The power connector (USB A in red) gives the possibility of connecting to a notebook/pc, external switching source (both standard or high end), linear power source or battery.

If your DAC doesn t require power from an USB port, you will avoid potential noise from the device you have chosen to power it by not connecting power to your DAC

In addition, the metal meshes are welded to the USB terminals.
