This iron on is roughly 4 inches x 10 inches. Iron-on will come in an envelope with instructions for application. Works best with fabrics that contain at least SOME COTTON. I use them all the time on 100% cotton, 50/50 cotton Poly Blend or even 25% cotton fabrics. Wholly Synthetic materials (spandex, etc.) may resist adhesion. Have never tried it on silk, so I dont know what you should expect.
